Welcome to Professional Ukrainian Hub
ProUA Hub is an initiative dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and empowering community for displaced Ukrainians, migrants, and local neighbours.
We partner with NG Homes and local organisations to:
- improve housing conditions;
- deliver education and English language support;
- provide employability services and job‑readiness skills;
- run environmental and ecological projects;
- celebrate culture, cuisine, and biodiversity;
- support mental well‑being through arts, recreation, and collective gardening.
Our Story
The story of ProUA Hub began with an earlier community initiative created and led by dedicated volunteers — among them, our founding members.
From the very start, we worked together to organise events, support the Ukrainian community, and build meaningful connections across Glasgow, beginning in March, 2025.
Over time, the group evolved, and some members chose to register a separate organisation under the original name.
Our founding team — having played a key role in the early development and activities — decided to continue this community work independently, establishing a new chapter as ProUA Hub.
We are proud of our shared beginnings and remain deeply committed to the same mission: to support integration, empowerment, and wellbeing within our community.
Our Mission
The mission of ProUA Hub is to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering community where displaced Ukrainians, migrants, and local residents can thrive together. We support integration into Scottish society through education, ESOL classes, digital training, and employability programmes that open pathways to sustainable futures.
We promote wellbeing and social cohesion through art, cultural exchange, catering initiatives, and recreational activities. Our ecological and gardening projects encourage sustainability and greener neighbourhoods. We also provide safe spaces and practical support for vulnerable families facing displacement, poverty, or health challenges.
By empowering talents, advancing art, and promoting equality and diversity, we build resilience, unity, and opportunity for all.
Our TEAM
My name is Nataliia Parkhomei. Creating this hub together with our community was born out
of a simple but powerful idea: to support Ukrainians, celebrate our culture, and build bridges
with the local community.
For me, ProUA Hub is not just an organization – it is a place of hope, kindness, and shared growth. Every project, whether it is ESOL classes, art initiatives, or food delivery, reflects our belief that together we are stronger.
I believe that even small acts – learning a new word, painting a mural, or sharing a meal – can change lives and make people feel at home.
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” — Helen Keller
This quote inspires me every day. ProUA Hub is living proof of what can be achieved when
people come together with open hearts.
