Mindful Nature Journeys –
Wellbeing and Integration through Excursions

Join us for 18 months of Mindful Nature Journeys—guided wellbeing excursions and creative outdoor sessions designed for residents facing isolation, stress, or those newly arrived in Glasgow.

Our Vision:

  • Gentle mindful walking and breathing exercises
  • Supportive and relaxed conversations among peers
  • Simple creative reflections through journaling, photography, and sketching
  • Shared tea or picnic gatherings, ensuring everyone feels included regardless of cost

Each excursion will be a small-group day trip, accommodating up to 16 people, to accessible natural or heritage sites—such as parks, lochs, community gardens, and coastal paths.

All activities are free and inclusive. We provide transport, materials, translation, and refreshments to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Our routes are designed to be accessible for all ages and abilities, including wheelchair users. Participants are encouraged to join multiple times, fostering friendships, building confidence, and nurturing a sense of belonging over time.
