First Steps into Work: Gaining Experience Through Community Projects

Starting a career can be challenging, especially for young people who have just finished college, university, or professional courses but do not yet have work experience. Many employers ask for a proven track record, but how can someone gain this if no one gives them the first opportunity?

Our initiative is designed to close this gap. With the support of grants, we provide young specialists with the chance to complete their first real projects within charity and community organisations. These projects are meaningful, socially valuable, and — most importantly — paid. This means participants not only contribute to positive change in society but also gain professional experience they can confidently add to their CV.

By taking part, young professionals strengthen their skills, build portfolios, and improve their chances of finding full-time employment in their chosen fields. At the same time, charities benefit from fresh ideas, energy, and new perspectives.

We currently support opportunities in the following areas:

  • Data analysis and IT support

  • Digital marketing and content creation

  • Graphic and web design

  • Community and social project management

  • Education and tutoring support

  • Administrative and organisational roles

Together, we create a win-win solution: a stronger community and brighter career opportunities.
